Got A Piano Out Of Tune?

Pianos need to be tuned and maintained on a regular basis in order to work and keep in good sound. The longer the delicate instrument goes without tuning, the harder and the more expensive work becomes.

The Golden Rule is once a year. "Some like sooner 6 months or quarterly, depends how picky your ear is."

I am an Aural Tuner, meaning I tune by ear. Unlike others, to put it simply, computers do not hear the way we do.

And I am what they call a master tuner.

Stuck keys are usually easy to fix. My general rate for a standard tuning is $140.

If the piano is severely out of
tune, it may require a pitch raise, essentially needing to tune the piano twice is $180.

String replacement or repair costs depends on repair, I have to assess.

Meet The Owner

I taught myself to tune the piano when I was 16. Had an old Campbell given to me by a neighbor. It was in awful-terrible shape. There were no tuners out in Thrall so I had to teach myself. Broke a few strings and within a short time I had it down. I play a multitude of instruments, accordion, banjo, saxophone others. I have been in a few bands too. Music has always been my life and study. I enjoy and love the work I do.

Alas, there is just nothing quite like a well-tuned piano.
